The awards were handed out Thursday, November 22, 2001 in London, England.

The annual MacUser Awards seek to recognize the companies and products that have excelled during the past year. This year's panel of judges was comprised of 25 leading MacUser contributors, all experts in their fields. The Software Expansion category is designed to honour the product that best extends the capabilities of other software programs.
