Former Getty Images Inc. and Corel Corporation alumni join Hemera™ to oversee strategic expansion activities

Hull, Canada - October 18, 2001 - Hemera Technologies Inc., a world leader in wholly owned royalty-free digital image content, announced today that three experienced graphics industry professionals have joined the company. Each will assume responsibility for new content and e-business initiatives expected to fuel Hemera's continuing expansion and rapid growth.

Jeffrey Foster recently joined as a Senior Director to oversee the development of Hemera's new online business that sells images to design professionals. Jeffrey joins from Getty Images where he was Site Director for PhotoDisc.com and Stone.com. He also has experience as an Art Director, Co-Creative Director and Photography Department Manager.

Niall O'Driscoll has joined as Director, Visual Content Strategy. Niall is guiding visual content development in Hemera's current businesses and overseeing new projects that will make Hemera's vast inventory of digital images available to emerging markets. Niall's previous work experience includes four years at Eyewire Inc. (a Getty Images company) where he was a Product Manager for Photo and Type products. Niall also held several positions with Adobe Systems and has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Studies from the University of Calgary.

Joe Donnelly has joined as a Product Manager for Hemera's graphics software products. Joe joins from NetActive Inc. where he was the Manager of Marketing Services. Joe also worked at Corel Corporation for five years where he held various positions including Senior Product Manager, CorelDRAW® and Graphic Designer. Joe holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the University of Ottawa.
